I Knew Before I Started Talking.” The pandemic forced Smerconish to cancel a nationwide speaking tour of theatres in the spring and summer of 2020, but when his calendar was cut short, he decided to deliver and record the presentation. The film features him speaking to an empty playhouse in the middle of the pandemic. Today, the one-man show can be watched on Hulu.
