TMA Leadership

There are two primary governing bodies in TMA: Executive Board and Board of Trustees. The Executive Board is the governing body. The Board of Trustees’ main responsibility is to act as an intermediary between the Executive Board and the members and as a forum for members to receive information that allows the Association, its chapters, and international affiliates to better serve and represent the members.

TMA Committees

TMA is an association for turnaround and restructuring professionals run by turnaround and restructuring professionals.

Become a Volunteer

At TMA, our strength lies in our community.

All TMA programming is guided by members, for members. When you join a committee, you’re not just a volunteer – you’re a driving force behind our association’s success. From organizing local events to shaping global initiatives, your contributions matter.

Why Serve on the TMA Board?

Board service allows you to bring your full self to TMA—your emotional connection to the work, commitment to the overall sector, life experience, skills, and intellect. Serving on a TMA Board will help you forge deeper connections to the corporate restructuring community and your peers. It is an enriching way to give back to the profession, to the organization, and to the next generation of turnaround professionals.

Raise your hand to serve on the TMA Global Board during the Board nominations process, which typically takes place in June – July of each year. If you’re interested in serving on a board or committee for your chapter, please contact your chapter executive.
