Congratulations to Scott Bogucki, Gleichenhaus, Marchese, Weishaar & Bogucki, PC., who has been a tireless advocate for TMA Upstate New York. He has served as chapter president (2024) and the chairperson of the program committee while also on the executive board. Bogucki divided the chapter into four geographic subgroups (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany), while focusing efforts on chapter communications, membership, events, and sponsorships.

Congratulations to Anton de Leeuw, CTP, BM&T European Restructuring Solutions, whose tireless dedication to TMA is seemingly boundless. A board member for TMA UK, he has spearheaded the chapter’s membership initiative that has boosted engagement and increased participation in events. De Leeuw also was elected the chair for TMA UK’s conference, an event that has improved its panels and incorporated events involving NextGen and NOW members. He is a successful speaker, serving on conference panels where he carries the banner for TMA Global and TMA Europe.

Congratulations to Jack O’Connor, Levenfeld Pearlstein LLC, who has been a dedicated TMA member for 13 years. In such time, he has grown into a leader, serving as TMA Chicago/Midwest Chapter president in 2024 and on the TMA Global Executive Board in 2025. O’Connor has experienced the power of TMA membership in building professional relationships and reinforcing his dedication to connection, mentorship, and service.

TMA New York City launched “Turnaround Time,” the chapter’s official podcast that aims to deliver educational and networking-focused content. In 2024, TMA NYC released four podcast episodes. The premier episode for 2025 featured a conversation with Edward Altman, a professor at the NYU Stern School of Business. The chapter’s Online Programming Committee has partnered with TMA NYC’s NOW Committee to produce conversation between Jill Mindlin and Francine Falchook on the evolving experience of women in the industry.

NORTH AMERICAN CHAPTER EXCELLENCE

With roughly 240 members, the TMA Philadelphia/Wilmington Chapter maintains one of the most active and engaged chapters in TMA Global. Members have played vital roles in TMA Global leadership, including on the Executive Board, Board of Trustees, and various committees including DEI, NOW, and the Chapter Presidents’ Council. TMA Philadelphia/Wilmington also holds engaging educational and networking events throughout the year, including a student luncheon, a NextGen happy hour, and a NOW casino night.

The TMA United Kingdom Chapter, a well-established and integral part of TMA Global’s international network, has reimagined its role and relevance in the past year and a half. TMA UK aimed to innovate to ensure it remains a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking chapter. Its efforts focus on board development and succession, member engagement and growth, amplifying the TMA voice, and sponsorship.
