As a dedicated Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) with more than five years of service, your hard work and expertise have helped reshape businesses and industries. Now, as you prepare for retirement, you have the opportunity to continue your legacy by obtaining the CTP Emeritus designation.
The CTP Emeritus designation is a distinguished status reserved for CTPs who are retiring from the turnaround industry and meet the following criteria:
- You have held your CTP certification for more than five years
- You are fully retired from the industry or are over the age of 66
- You have fulfilled your current CTP continuing education reporting requirements
Benefits of CTP Emeritus Status
By obtaining CTP Emeritus status, you are no longer subject to continuing education requirements or annual renewal fees, recognizing the completion of your professional journey. This status honors your contributions to the field while maintaining your connection to the TMA community.
Should you return to the corporate renewal industry before the age of 66, a change of status will be required to reactivate your certification, and your eligibility will be reassessed by the Standards Subcommittee.
Applying is Easy!
To apply for CTP Emeritus status, please submit your request through the CTP Emeritus Request form. All applications will be reviewed semiannually by the Standards Subcommittee to ensure your status has not changed.
