Happy Saturday and welcome to CEO Speaks for Saturday, September 9, 2023.
The excitement continues to build as we rapidly approach the 2023 TMA Annual and the actionable optionality that will define this 35th Anniversary gala conference to be held at the San Francisco Fairmont, October 3–6 at the top of the Hill in Nob Hill, a grand setting for the grandest of TMA events.
And as part of this year’s gala conference, a unique and timely keynote speaker was announced this week.
We are TMA thrilled to introduce Shola Richards as the 2023 TMA Annual keynote speaker.
Having authored best selling books including ‘Making Work Work, and ‘Go Together’, Shola, an in-demand workplace civility expert will bring the multi-generational perspective of the workplace and our world to the forefront.
This keynote presentation complements the very essence of our conference theme of lighting the way forward as we celebrate our luminaries and elevate those who represent the future, at their defining moment in generational evolution with the end of a 50 year baby boomer population explosion.
How wonderful it will be to have this stand out speaker talk to this once in a lifetime moment where four generations of thought leadership are all part of the workplace, and an opportunity to learn from multi-generational perspectives.
Following Shola’s keynote, attendees will be treated to a book signing event where he will share his learnings from the African philosophy of Ubuntu, which talks to the belief that we are universally connected to each other and how that could transform the way we treat others, making us kinder and more respectful to each other, on and off the job.
The keynote, generously sponsored by White Oak Commercial Finance, puts front and center what it means to be real and relevant in how we design our conference experiences, and with this keynote, we embrace the challenges of our times as we strive to give our members the tools to create a better collective tomorrow.
Over the last few weeks, you’ve heard a lot about the innovation and imagination that will define the 35th anniversary TMA Annual Conference, and it is one you do not want to miss!
We will look back over the journey from our pioneering beginnings to the luminaries who have built this profession and have revolutionized the turnaround and restructuring industry along the way.
It will be an opportunity to connect with the Hall of Fame honorees, experience the empowering TMA Network of Women, meet the next generation of restructuring professionals, mix and mingle with our first-time attendees and international delegation, and more.
The TMA Annual is not just another conference, it is where passion meets profession, offering unparalleled networking and professional development opportunities.
From boot camp to practical education tools and wine tasting and a chocolate tour too, we will be better together, stronger together, and TMA Proud as we showcase the very best of who we are and what we represent to the corporate reorganization, restructuring, and corporate health space through a network of 58 chapters 10,000 members strong.
As we light the way forward in San Francisco in just a few weeks, be part of the story that is TMA tomorrow and the future of our professional and organization that you will help write.
With more than 60 sponsors and already more than 400 registrants, the future of TMA will be made bright by these unforgettable and defining three days of professional development, networking, and the camaraderie that is so central to who we are at TMA.
