Chapters of the Year, Outstanding Individual Contribution

Thank you for your participation in the Chapter of the Year, Most Improved Chapter of the Year, and Outstanding Individual Contribution Award programs. The entry deadline was December 1, 2008. Award recipients were recognized during the TMA 2009 Spring Conference. The entry package for the Chapter Awards and Outstanding Individuals Contribution Awards will be available in September 2009.

BUTLER-COOLEY EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARDS

The Butler-Cooley Excellence in Teaching Awards Program honors teachers who have changed the outcome of students’ lives and the communities in which they live. The 2008 award recipients were recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Convention in October, 2008.

CARL MARKS STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION

 

Thank you for your entries. The Carl Marks Student Paper Competition closed as of the May 29, 2009, deadline. 

First ($3,000 USD) and second ($1,500) place prizes will be presented at TMA’s 2009 Annual Convention, October 7-9, at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, AZ.

TURNAROUND, RESTRUCTURING AND DISTRESSED INVESTING INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME

The Turnaround, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Industry Hall of Fame was estabilshed in TMA’s 20th Anniversary year to honor and preserve the names of those whose outstanding individual contributions have increased the stature and respect of the industry. The inaugural Hall of Fame inductees were recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Convention in October, 2008.
