2011 TMA Annual Convention
Held October 25-27 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California, TMA’s 23rd annual event was highlighted by keynote speaker Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, and featured advanced education sessions from expert presenters and panelists, and unlimited business opportunities through networking, exhibits, and more.
During Stone’s keynote presentation, the Twitter co-founder shared colorful insight into the creation of the social networking site and how attendees can use Twitter for communicating and marketing.

Networking Opportunities
Among the convention’s featured networking opportunities was the Opening Reception at the USS Midway, the the longest-serving U.S. Navy carrier of the 20th century and once the largest ship in the world.
Additional networking events included: Young Professionals Reception, Women’s Networking Reception, International Reception, California Wine Walk in the Exhibit Hall and the Cocktail Reception in the Exhibit Hall.
