Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for Accountants

TMA is accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to offer CPE credit for its educational programs, including the Distressed Investing Conference, Spring Conference, Annual Convention, and Body of Knowledge courses. (TMA is exploring accreditation for Webinar programs – live and archived. Updates will be posted to this Web site as soon as information is available). 

The following chart details maximum CPE hours available at past programs. To request a certificate of attendance, please click on the event name and print and complete the request form. The form may be returned to Nicole Gibby by fax to 1-312-578-8336 or e-mail to ngibby@turnaround.org. If you would like to request a certificate of attendance for a program not listed on the chart, please contact Nicole Gibby. 

Please note that chapter programs must be independently accredited for CPE by the host chapter(s) pursuant to the policies of the accrediting board. Please contact your chapter to determine if a program was accredited.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for Attorneys

TMA applies to jurisdictions requiring continuing legal education for attorneys to accredit its conferences and live Webinars. The Management and Accounting/Finance Body of Knowledge courses are ineligible for CLE. Upon request, TMA can apply for CLE accreditation for the Law Body of Knowledge course. For complete details about individual state CLE requirements, please click here. The chart below details maximum CLE hours available at past programs. To request a certificate of attendance, please click on the event name and print and complete the request form. If you would like to request a certificate of attendance for a program not listed on the chart, please also contact Nicole Gibby.

Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP)

The Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation was introduced in 1993 to provide training and create an objective measure of the experience, knowledge and integrity that is necessary to conduct corporate renewal work.
