Certification Maintenance

 

Each person who is awarded the CTP designation is expected to serve his or her clients in an independent, competent and professional manner, and to exercise unprejudiced and unbiased judgment on each client´s behalf. In addition, each person who achieves certification is required to remain active as a professional, to abide by the TMA Code of Ethics and to complete at least 50 hours of continuing professional education during each two-year period, including two hours of ethics credit.

Continuing Education Credit Reporting

CTPs and CTP-Ds are required to report 50 hours of continuing education over each two-year period, including two hours of ethics credits within the two-year period.
