BUTLER-COOLEY EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARDS


The Butler-Cooley Excellence in Teaching Awards Program honors teachers who have changed students’ lives and the communities where they teach. One recipient will be selected in the 2010 competition. The recipient will be recognized at TMA’s 2010 Spring Conference in New York City.

CARL MARKS STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION

Entry Deadline: Tuesday, June 1, 2010

Thank you for your entries in the Carl Marks Student Paper Competition. The awards program is closed as of the June 1, 2010 entry deadline. 

First ($3,000 USD) and second ($1,500) place prizes in each paper category will be presented at TMA’s 2010 Annual Convention, October 6-8, at the J.W. Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, FL.

TURNAROUND, RESTRUCTURING AND DISTRESSED INVESTING INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME

The Turnaround, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Industry Hall of Fame was establIshed in TMA’s 20th Anniversary year to honor and preserve the names of those whose outstanding individual contributions have increased the stature and respect of the industry. The inaugural Hall of Fame inductees were recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Convention in October, 2008.
