Turnaround and Transaction Awards

Thank you for your entries in the Turnaround and Transaction Awards program. The awards program is closed as of the May 5, 2008, entry deadline.

Winners will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in New Orleans, October 27-29.

Chapters of the Year, Outstanding Individual Contribution

Thank you for your entries for the Chapter of the Year, Most Improved Chapter of the Year, and Outstanding Individual Contribution Awards. The awards program is closed as of the November 30, 2007, entry deadline. These awards will be presented at TMA’s 2008 Spring Conference, March 27 - 29, 2008, at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.

TMA also periodically presents Lifetime Achievement Awards and Chairman’s Awards. For details about these awards, including a list of past recipients, please click here.

BUTLER-COOLEY EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARDS

The Butler-Cooley Excellence in Teaching Awards Program honors teachers who have changed the outcome of students’ lives and the communities in which they live. The 2008 entry deadline was May 1, 2008. Winners will be announced in late summer.

Winners will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in New Orleans, October 27-29.

THE TURNAROUND, RESTRUCTURING AND DISTRESSED INVESTING INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME

Nominations Deadline: Thursday, April 10, 2008, 5:00 p.m. Central

The Turnaround, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Industry Hall of Fame was established in TMA’s 20th Anniversary year to honor and preserve the names of those whose outstanding individual contributions have increased the stature and respect of the industry. Nominations are now being accepted and are due April 10, 2008.

The inaugural Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized at TMA’s 20th Anniversary Annual Convention in New Orleans, October 27 to 29.

CARL MARKS STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION

Entry Deadline: Friday, May 30, 2008, 5:00 p.m. Central

The Carl Marks Student Paper Competition recognizes outstanding student achievement in the corporate renewal field.
